Link & Pin: Charlotte, NC

Hey foodies! 💕 Thanks for coming back to the blog. Today’s review features another Charlotte restaurant! I promise that there will be other NC cities soon! But one of the awesome things about Charlotte is that they have so many brunch options. I’m not even close to exploring all of them.

For this week’s brunch, I am reviewing Link & Pin. It is located on New Bern St. in Charlotte, North Carolina. They serve brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 4 PM.

My Order:

  • Mimosa Tray (Prosecco, orange juice, cranberry juice, peach nectar and assorted fruits)

  • Chicken & Waffles (crispy chicken tenders, sticky bun bourbon maple syrup, mint watermelon)

  • Side of Potato Hash

Review:

My experience at Link & Pin was awesome! It is located in an up and coming area of the city. There is a parking garage right next to it and they will validate your parking ticket.

The restaurant is beautiful on the inside. It has very high ceilings, a full bar, and lots of large windows. The decor showcases a lot of art and designs featuring trains and locomotives, which is relevant to the name of the restaurant. There is also a lot of wood details. The ambiance is upscale and perfect for a date or a nice brunch with friends.

Our waiter was very nice. It was our first time dining there so he explained the menu and some of their popular items, one being the Chicken & Waffles! He made it sound so good that I ended up ordering it.

We also ordered a Mimosa Tray with Prosecco. The mimosa tray was such a cute vibe and a great menu item for a boozy brunch. You can basically create your own mimosa right at your table!

The Chicken & Waffles did not disappoint. I definitely understand why it is a popular menu item. The waffles were by far my favorite part. They were fluffy but also crispy on the edges which is just how I like my waffles, and the powdered sugar on top was the perfect addition to the overall sweet and savory meal! The potato hash lacked a bit of flavor but the potatoes were cooked well.

I really enjoyed my meal. I appreciate that the brunch menu had lots of different options. I have noticed other brunch places have a much smaller, restrictive brunch menu but at Link & Pin, I feel like anyone, even vegans and vegetarians, can find something yummy on the menu. I will definitely be returning to try more things!

Overall, I had a great experience at Link & Pin and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good brunch in the Charlotte area!
