Easy Like Sunday: Charlotte, NC

Sunday Brunch at Easy Like Sunday

For this week’s brunch, I visited Easy Like Sunday in Charlotte, North Carolina. They are located in ParkTowne Village Shopping Center on Woodlawn Road. Easy Like Sunday is currently open for dine-in on Wednesdays through Sundays from 9 AM - 3 PM.

My Order:

  • Apple Cider Mimosa (cinnamon sugar on the rim)

  • Breakfast Burrito (potatoes, green chilis, eggs, cheddar, bacon, avocado cream, creme fraiche, served with a side)

    • Modifications: I substituted the bacon for chicken sausage and ordered french fries as my side.

Apple Cider Mimosa + Breakfast Burrito

Review:

I have been hearing nothing but good things about Easy Like Sunday, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The restaurant is tucked away inside the ParkTowne Village Shopping Center but very easy to find with directions. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available.

The inside of the restaurant is on the smaller side but the decor is great. The first thing I noticed were the emerald green chairs and the marble tabletops. They also have hanging plants on the ceiling and large windows. It was very aesthetically pleasing with the type of ambiance that I desire for brunch.

Easy Like Sunday is currently taking reservation only dine-in and has contactless menus using a QR code on each table for less contact during the pandemic. Unfortunately, because of the smaller size of the restaurant, the tables are still pretty close together.

Our waitress was very nice and quick. Our food came out relatively fast. The Breakfast Burrito was delicious! I would highly recommend it and would order it again. The burrito had a great combination of flavors and the potatoes were soft. It was my first time ever trying an Apple Cider Mimosa and it was so good, especially with the cinnamon sugar rim. The mimosa was a part of their Fall Specials menu, along with pumpkin pancakes, white chocolate peppermint mocha, and a pumpkin chai latte.

I also want to note that my boyfriend ordered the Vegan Hash and really enjoyed it, so they are vegan friendly. They also have chicken sausage and other alternatives for non-red meat eaters like myself. Kudos to them!

B.I.T.S. Rating:

I would give Easy Like Sunday 5 out of 5 stars. Aside from the proximity of the tables (which is only because we are in pandemic), I enjoyed everything about Easy Like Sunday and will be returning to try other items on their menu. If you are ever looking for a brunch spot in Charlotte, head over to Easy Like Sunday!

What I Wore:

For this look, I wanted to wear one last summer outfit before fall hit. I paired these sage, green pants with a white short-sleeve blouse and nude, sandal heels. I chose a small, gold purse to complete the look. I really enjoy a nice pant, especially a pair that covers my ankles. #tallgirlproblems. I love the Boohoo Tall women’s section for cute pants. Let me know your thoughts on the look!
