Hash House A Go Go: Orlando, FL

Saturday Brunch at Hash House a Go Go

For this week’s brunch, I visited Hash House a Go Go in Orlando, Florida. It was recommended to us by some friends that live in Orlando. Hash House is located on International Drive, and is open Sunday - Thursday from 8 AM - 2 PM and from 8 AM - 7 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.

My Order:

  • Huckleberry Sin (44* North Mountain Huckleberry vodka, homemade lemonade and blueberry, with lemon and fresh mint garnish)

  • Hash (roasted chicken, garlic, onions, asparagus, rosemary, fried potatoes, two eggs, and homemade biscuit)

    • Modifications: I added swiss cheese and my eggs were cooked over medium.

Huckleberry Sin + Roasted Chicken Hash

Review:

For brunch this week, I was in Orlando on a couple’s trip with my boyfriend and some friends (shoutout to Jace & Dal!), and of course we had to go to brunch. It was recommended that we visit Hash House a Go Go. The restaurant was pretty big with normal tables and booths and there was a large tractor in the lobby. They also had a full bar and a liquor room.

The menu was paper for one-time use during the pandemic. However, Florida is now back at 100% capacity in restaurants so there was no social distancing between tables.

The menu has a great selection of food and drinks. With most of the signature drinks, you are able to take the glass home. I noted that they have avocado toast and a wide variety of hashes for those that are vegan or vegetarian.

Our waiter was nice and the food came out quickly. We did have to send the hash back because they did not add swiss cheese the first time. The hash was alright, but it was not very seasoned. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The Huckleberry Sin was great! All of the meals come in very large portions which I appreciate! Most items could probably be split between two people or taken home for leftovers.

Overall, I was a little disappointed in my meal but one of my friends ordered the World Famous Sage Fried Chicken & Waffles and he loved it. So now I know to order that for next time! If you have ever been to Hash House a Go Go, let me know what you ordered in the comments.

B.I.T.S. Rating:

I would give Hash House a Go Go 3 out of 5 stars. I loved my drink and the portion sizes of the food! I just wish I had ordered something else on the menu. Their menu has so many options so definitely check out Hash House a Go Go if you are ever in the Orlando area!

What I Wore:

For this look, I wanted to wear a statement top and leave the rest of the outfit simple. I chose this oversized button-down blouse from Boohoo with a very extravagant print and paired it with black pants, black heels, and a black bag. Any variation of a statement top with simple pants or denim is always stylish and fairly easy to put together. I really liked this outfit! Let me know your thoughts on this look in the comments.
